The small but powerful WOLFMIX-W1 finally has its stage companion — the WOLFMIX WING. Eight motorized faders, eight OLED displays, an 8 × 5 button matrix and a complete set of performance-grade playback features, all packed into a desktop device just larger than a sheet of A4 paper.

The WING is not a standalone console, but an expansion wing for the WOLFMIX-W1. It connects to a W1 over a single USB cable, and the two devices fuse into one integrated system; the WING's motorized faders provide the hands-on feel while the W1's touchscreen handles the visual workflow — two devices, one instrument. The WING is compatible with the entire W1 MK1 / MK2 / MK3 range, so existing W1 users can upgrade smoothly without changing their main controller; working together, the two devices share the same powerful beam engine and unlock up to 8 DMX universes.

Key Highlights

• 8 Motorized Faders — electroplated capacitive touch caps + lightguides (4 RGB LEDs each) + 8 64 × 32 OLED strip displays, so parameters are clear at a glance

• Three Dedicated Modes — CUE LIST to choreograph the show, CONTROL to refine every detail, MAPPING to customize the console — a complete console workflow

• SUBGROUPS — every group divides into 8 subgroups, splitting front wash left, centre and right, and separating a moving head's beam from its pixel ring for independent control

• 4 Physical DMX Outputs — 2 × 3-pin and 2 × 5-pin XLR, with every socket freely assignable to any universe; fused with a W1, up to 8 universes

• Generic MIDI Controller — connect over USB-C to drive external hardware and software such as Ableton, Traktor and Resolume

• Just Larger Than A4, Only 1.5 kg — 220 × 290 × 57 mm, with a steel base plate and 100 mm VESA mounting pattern, ready in 2 seconds

Three Dedicated Modes

CUE LIST — Choreograph Your Show

Arrange presets by song, scene or act, and the dedicated OK/GO button triggers the next cue with a single press. Each cue can have its own fade and hold times, supports automatic cue jumps and loop playback, and MIDI Time Code keeps the lighting locked to the rest of the production. Up to 5,000 cues, with up to 5 presets stacked per cue — one for colour, another for movement.

CONTROL — Add Detail to Every Fixture

All fixtures are laid out across the 8 × 5 matrix, and the faders give direct control over dimmer, colour (RGBWAUV + Lime), position (pan/tilt, 16-bit), zoom, iris, focus, gobo rotation and prism rotation. Once you have the look you want, hit OK/GO to save it straight into a preset, with up to 32 individual edits per preset.

MAPPING — Customize Your Control Surface

Lay out four pages freely, assigning faders, matrix buttons and encoders however you like. Anything left unmapped automatically sends generic MIDI, driving external MIDI hardware and software directly — making the WING the one surface you run the whole show from.

Every W1 Mode Just Got Better

The WING doesn't replace the W1, it enhances it. In COLOR FX / MOVE FX / BEAM FX, the effect parameters come straight out onto the faders, so shaping an effect is a matter of reaching for it rather than hunting for it. All eight groups sit in front of you at once, with no need to switch pages; tap a group button and colours, positions and gobos spread across the entire matrix.
