To solve the common problems of light show and exhibition projects — separate playback devices for audio and video, complicated trigger chains, and costly unattended operation — CQILED is proud to release the CQ-AMP9 Art-Net Network Media Player. The unit is the audio/video output terminal of a lighting console: it receives console signals directly over the standard Art-Net protocol and plays music and video programming, keeping sound and vision synchronized with the lighting. It is built for stage performance, night tourism and landscape lighting, musical fountains, exhibition multimedia and commercial spaces.

The Lighting Console's “Audio/Video Output Port”

In conventional light shows and exhibition projects, audio and video playback depends on dedicated players and intricate trigger chains. The CQ-AMP9 removes that complexity entirely: the Art-Net signal sent by the lighting console directly controls playback, volume, looping and program switching — no additional software and no dedicated triggers, with one network cable running through the whole venue. Note that the CQ-AMP9 is the audio/video playback terminal of the console; lighting itself remains the job of the console and its existing fixtures. All it does is put sound and picture onto that same cable — and play them in sync.

CQ-AMP9

9 Control Channels, 4K Output

The unit provides 9 Art-Net (DMX) control channels, so console signals handle volume, play/pause, loop modes and program-folder switching — one console covers the scheduling of a whole audio and video program. On the output side, 4K HDMI and a 3.5 mm audio jack connect directly to projectors, LED screens and sound systems. File formats are fully supported across MP4, AVI, MP3, WAV, PNG and JPG, with 16 GB of onboard storage plus external USB drive playback, so refreshing content never means opening the unit.

Auto Play on Power-Up, Built for Unattended Venues

For environments that must run over the long term — night tourism, musical fountains, exhibition multimedia — the CQ-AMP9's auto-play-on-power-up capability is a major advantage. The unit begins its preset programming the moment power is applied: no operator on site and no extra control triggers required. Content plays from onboard storage or directly from a USB drive, making program updates quick and straightforward.

CQ-AMP9

WEB-Based Remote Management

Operators can open the CQ-AMP9 control interface in any browser (default address 192.168.1.71:8086) to check Art-Net data, current playback status and channel settings, and to upload, manage or delete video and audio files online. Playlists and parameters can be adjusted in minutes, cutting site inspections and enabling genuinely intelligent operation and maintenance.

Multi-Unit Cascading on a Single Cable

Cascaded over network cable or even fiber, a single console can drive multiple CQ-AMP9 units at once for long-distance, distributed and fully synchronized shows. Whether it is zone-by-zone linkage in a large venue or a cross-area project across a scenic spot or street block, one signal source can schedule it all — simple to wire, flexible to expand, and suited to professional audio-visual projects of every scale.
