Hebei Shijiazhuang • Air-supported Membrane Ice Rink
Officially opened to the public in June 2021, Shijiazhuang Ice Rink is a standard real-ice skating venue in Hebei’s provincial capital. Situated on the East Square of Yutong International Sports Center, the air-supported membrane structure covers a total building area of 3,264 square meters, with the ice surface spanning 1,830 square meters. It not only supports ice sports training but also meets the requirements for hosting large-scale ice events.
The rink is equipped with domestically advanced systems, including ice-making, dehumidification, air conditioning, lighting, broadcasting, video display, and control systems. Since its launch, it has become a new sports landmark of the city – every weekend, the ice surface turns into a hub of joy.
The operation of Shijiazhuang Ice Rink has boosted the popularization of ice and snow sports and the development of the ice and snow industry in "International Zhuang" (a colloquial name for Shijiazhuang). It further elevates the standard of Shijiazhuang’s ice and snow sports, ignites public enthusiasm for participating in such sports, and encourages more people to join the national campaign of "300 million people participating in ice and snow sports" – a goal that also aligns with Hebei Province’s target of having 30 million people engaged in ice and snow sports by 2022.
Our company provided the DMX512 intelligent lighting control system for the rink, enabling unified control of internal and external lighting fixtures and special-effect lamps. Through computer programming and main control panel operation, it achieves one-click control of multiple modes: competition, training, music & light show, and background music. Additionally, with a built-in clock and perpetual calendar function, the system automatically activates specific effects at special time nodes, delivering an excellent user experience.
